From conception, FlyMiwok has been dedicated to designing on-demand air-travel that is affordable, safe, accessible and fun! Our team brings together a deep level of expertise in disciplines as varied as aviation, franchising and technology. Meet FlyMiwok's Team:
 | Gad Barnea, Founder & CEO
has more than 17 years experience as a software entrepreneur in areas of general management, technology management and marketing. He is also an experienced commercial pilot, published aviation author and a former Israeli Air Force air traffic controller.
Gad served as Director of Technical Business Development and VP, Product Marketing at GigaSpaces, Inc. He was also CEO of ZebraZone, Inc., a software company specializing in high-availability solutions for mission-critical businesses and prior to that was founder and CTO of Manna Network Technologies. His 1st startup was Éditions Musicales Européennes, in Paris, France in which he continues to be a director.

 | Veit Irtenkauf, SVP of Products
leads FlyMiwok's product development.
Over the last 13 years, Veit held various management roles at Intel Corporation, including Director of Operations for the Intel Inside program and the Intel Inside Program Office for WiMax and Netbooks as well as the program director of all of Intel`s third-party co-branding efforts. He also served in numerous other program management and business development roles. Previously, he co-founded and managed the German office of Unify Corporation, a Sacramento-based database software company and served in various product development roles at Cap Gemini in Germany.

 | Erik Cleage, Director
is a private investor and independent board member. He brings more than 25 years of high-tech experience, 19 of them at Altera Corporation, a leading programmable logic supplier and industry pioneer.
Cleage held various management positions at Altera between 1986 and 2005 including 15 years as an executive officer. Most recently he held the position of Senior Vice President of Marketing. Cleage comes with a demonstrated track record of success, helping to grow Altera from a $3-million pre-IPO startup to a multi-national, billion-dollar high-technology powerhouse.

 | R. Preston McAfee, Economic Adviser
is a J. Stanley Johnson Professor of Business, Economics, and Management at CalTech. He teaches business strategy, managerial economics, and introductory microeconomics.
McAfee has joined Yahoo! Research as Research Fellow and Vice President where he leads the microeconomics research group. As an authority on industrial organization, he advised the U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division, and the USA Federal Trade Commission (FTC) on mergers, collusion, price-fixing, electricity pricing, bidding, procurement, sales of government property. In 1994-5, McAfee advised the FTC on the mergers of Exxon and Mobil, and of British Petroleum and ARCO. He was an expert witness in FTC v. Rambus, and on the competitive effects of the proposed Peoplesoft-Oracle merger in USA v. Oracle Corporation.
